A Gentle Invitation
This is not a collection of stories written by someone who had it all figured out.
This is an invitation.
An invitation to walk with me through the awkward beginning of learning how to have a real relationship with God as an adult.
Not the polished version.
Not the church-answer version.
Not the version that pretends we always know what to say.
But the honest version.
The one where prayer feels unfamiliar.
The one where silence feels awkward.
The one where you’re not even sure what to call God when you finally try to talk to Him.
Many of us step into faith with sincere hearts, declaring that He is Lord and that we will follow Him — even before we fully understand what that relationship actually looks like.
We say yes.
We commit.
We believe.
And yet quietly wonder,
“Now what?”
I did not begin this journey with perfect words, deep understanding, or spiritual confidence.
I began with honesty.
With uncertainty.
With a quiet willingness to try.
If you have ever felt behind in your relationship with God…
unsure how to begin…
or worried that you’re doing it “wrong,”
you are not alone.
These chronicles are not here to overwhelm you with formulas or expectations.
They are simply here to walk beside you as you begin.
You do not need the right words.
You do not need a perfect past.
You do not need a strong spiritual foundation.
You don’t even have to have a dramatic, jaw-dropping testimony to begin an authentic walk with God. A quiet story does not mean a shallow relationship with Him.
Some come with no foundation at all.
Others come with knowledge, stories, and years in church — yet still feel unsure how to truly relate to God.
Both are still beginnings.
You only need a willing heart and the courage to show up honestly.
So come, just as you are.
Awkward words and all.
You are not too late.
You are not too unprepared.
And you are not disqualified from starting.
You are simply beginning.
Preparing for Launch

Don't wait until you have everything figured out.
Take the next step you know to take.
